First hole I tried to punch I crushed the handles and didn't get through the leather.
not worth the savings
I bought this when I started leather work and quickly found out less is not more. Crushed the handles and had to use another punch. Would not even punch the softest leather I had. Spend a little more to get a nice punch because this is used a lot.
Works Perfect
I've had my hole punch for a few months now and it works perfect for my leather earrings and bracelet making.
5 Stars for Me
My husband bought this for me to repair a briefcase. The original stitching on the handles fell apart so I used this tool and some rivets to re-attach and secure the handles to the briefcase. The handles are made of thick faux leather & the tool worked!

Totally worthless!!! Will not punch anything i.e. paper, thin sheets of plastic or leather. I even sharpened the tips but that didn't help. Lost only $10.00 on this bad purchase.
