Good latex
Good qalit latex, works good for mold building, BUT its expensive.
hi supper awesome
good for molding and making things
Short storage life :(
This product definitely does what it says and the details are nice and crisp when casting with resin. You must be very patient as the process requires NUMEROUS coats with dry time between each. Tried to use 6 months later & found the product clumpy.
good stuff
Good for MTB tire sealant! If you seal with a ziploc before threading the lid on it will keep for a year+
Extremely long dry time
Wasn't what I was expecting, molds sink, lack of instructions.
Long Lasting Molds
Brush on your first 5 coats using a hair dryer between coats to dry the layers on the 6th coat apply cheesecloth to add rigidity to your mold so it lasts longer don't wrap it tightly with cheesecloth just a simple layer then apply 6 more coats !
Game changer!
I bought mold builder to use to duplicate a clay dragonfly I had sculpted to cast in resin. The fine details of the delicate wings are clearly visible. I used gauze to stregthen the mold after the 6 & 8th coats, doing 10 total. Extremely happy with it.
Bad Choice for making a mold.
Stuff is terrible! My clothes went out of style waiting for this stuff to dry. So if you have a project that needs to be molded in this life time, I would suggest a silicone based mold making agent where your mold will last for many many castings.
