For the wall decor
I have not use these as windows. I have used them for picture frames and just to place on the wall alone. I have white washed them which looks really good and very similar to some of the wall decor that can be found at Hobby Lobby.
Really cute!
I work with 1:12 scale miniatures so these are a bit too large. I just cut the bottom off and paint them. I use them in shadow boxes after painting and adding an acetate window pane. They look amazing with a bit of work. The price can not be beat
