Bad Fitment

Needed too much modification to get roadster headers too fit. Tires don't fit right and over all one of the worst models I have done.

What can you say about age……

Another commentor stated the cons to this kit. And really you can't blame him. This kit was first produced in 1965 by AMT, so after 3 reissues and new ownership, the AMT 50 year old moulds need to be replaced.

Could be better

While the car model itself leaves something to be desired, however, it works well for kitbashing with other models.

Poor Quality

Model lacked detail and the directions were undoubtedly the worst I have encountered. You should buy this model if………can’t come up with any reason to buy

Parts don't fit well

This was my first Model kit I was really excited but I started seeing some problems with the parts not fitting properly first a few engine parts then the tires which are the worse part then the chrome part for the rear lights cracked when i placed them in

A Disappointing Build

This kit was very disappointing. I did not have many problems building, the usually AMT old kit with flash. The main problem was the lack of corvette decals, including the one on the rear deck.

this Kit needs a re-tool

My 1st build of this kit was around '81. It was difficult and poorly fitting then but I attributed it to my lack of experience. with 40+ years of kit building under my belt gave it another go & it was abysmal. AMT needs to retool, or retire this kit

Give this old-timer a break

Most reviews are right, this 50+ year old amt 1963 Vette has seen better days but the body shell is still a good example of the character lines of the 1:1 car and that's why they keep re-issuing it and we keep buying it. Faults Easily Fixed if you try.

Not a bad kit for its age

Still builds nicely with the drag features. I had no issues with it. Love these old 3 n 1 kits.

63 year old that has done a lot of kits

Details are not there. This kit is for a child. I threw it in the trash, wasted 22 dollars very disappointed, shame on the people that made this kit.
