Excellent
These are excellent for using in bottles that you have drilled a hole in the back to create a night light. They only have a male end to the string of lights so the only thing you are putting in the bottle are light bulbs, no female end.

I have used these for years. Not just at Christmas. They add that perfect touch of sparkly light in a corner, on a plant for mood lighting or as an evening "night" type light. I always keep a stock on hand. They're great and last a long time.
Flickering mini lights multicolor 35 count.
Last year i bought a strand of 35 lights multi colored. I wanted them to flicker so i put in the special red tipped flashing bulb at the beginning of the light set where the plug is.Then i plugged it in the wall. Within seconds, the lights flickered.
Flickering effect
My lights came with three spare bulbs including the bulb that controls (flickering) effect. The lights flicker randomly.All you do is put in the flickering replacement bulb with the red tip.
Bought 4 packs, only one flicker bulb worked. :{
