these are great pencils
these pencils are great but do not use them as regular pencils the ebony pencil lead is very soft so alot comes out at once it is more for shading.

The Ebony pencils are all I ever use. I do portraits, landscapes, you name it. You can go incredibly detailed or do shading with them. They go from very light to ink jet black, all depending on pressure used. I use them all day, every day. Perfect.
Excellent pencils!
I'm so glad I purchased these pencils. They are round in shape making it easy to maneuver back and forth in hand when drawing, shading, or detailing, and are very smooth! They're equivalent to a 9B I think. They're inexpensive, and a great product.
