door opening
I bought 2 of these not seeing the door size. I kept them thinking that I could work with them. I used them for Christmas but can't think of anything else. My mistake!!!!
Pretty but ----
I was going to get this but it only has a side opening and only a small candle would fit and that didn't look good it needs to have a bigger opening to be able to use a taller bigger candle

This lantern is so beautiful; I found a set of 3 LED pillar candles that fit in it perfectly and it looks great! My mom loved it so much, she bought this lantern for herself, as well! Highly satisfied.
Beautiful lantern!
I can see where it would be a problem to fit wider variety candles through the doorway, it's only 2 3/4 in. wide. I am actually converting mine into a terrarium so it will work perfectly for my purpose. I really love this lantern, it's very beautiful!
Faux Terrarium
Yes, the door is difficult to work with, but I bought several others with doors just as small or smaller. I used this to make a fake terrarium and found that my hand just fit and I could use a pair of tongs to position things.
Love it
I received this for my birthday, I love it. I do fairy gardens and this is perfect! It is such a beautiful lantern. I will be putting a light in the top to shine down on my fairy and her friends.
Enchanting
Yes the side door is small but I wanted small fairy lights in it. The tiny lights are enchanting. I am able to change the lights out for different holidays. Red for Valentines, green for St. Patrick's day, white for any day. It looks magical.
Beautiful, unique green lantern
I love this lantern! It is so different from my others. The antique green is lovely. Just realize the opening is only big enough for a small flawless candle. I have a 3-4 inch Luminara votive in mine and it looks beautiful
Absolutely love it!
This lantern is HUGE and heavy! I was going to display it above my cabinets to keep my rambunctious pets from knocking it over and breaking it, but it's heavy enough that I could probably get away with displaying it more prominently on a table. Love it!

Yes the door is small but you can take out a panel of glass easily to put items in. They have metal tabs holding them in and can easily bend to remove glass panels.
