  Do you honor competitors' ads?
 
We do honor competitors' ads if a specific price is listed and we stock the exact same item. However, we do not honor competitors' "percent off" ads or coupons.

Do you offer rainchecks on sale items?
 
Rainchecks are issued when a specific item is on sale. We do not issue rainchecks when an entire group of merchandise is on sale, such as "Entire Stock of Unfinished Craft Wood." Please see personnel at your local Hobby Lobby for more information on receiving a raincheck.

When is a certain item going to be on sale?
 
Due to the competitive nature of our business, we do not release any type of sale information in advance. Our weekly ad is available on our web page for you to view and print at your convenience. It is updated every Saturday night after midnight.

I saw a great item in your store a few months ago but, now it's gone. How can I find this item?
 
We have many "send-out" items that are purchased only one time and are sent out directly to the stores. These items make up the bulk of our home decor and seasonal selection. Since these items are not kept in stock in our warehouse, it is not possible for the stores to order more of any particular item. We do not use a computerized inventory system so we cannot determine if the item is still available. The only way to locate a send-out item is to call another store to see if it has one in stock. The personnel at your local Hobby Lobby can assist you in locating this item at a store in your surrounding area, providing it is the current season's merchandise.

What is your return policy?

Why aren't there any stores on the west coast?
 
Our operating area is within a 1000-mile radius of Oklahoma City, OK. Our plans for 2008 are to open 20 to 30 additional stores within our operating area.

Presently, Hobby Lobby is not a publicly-traded company and does not have plans to go public in the future.

How can I buy a gift card?
 
Hobby Lobby Gift Cards are available at all Hobby Lobby stores in denominations from $10 to $200. You may also order your gift card by calling: 1-800-888-0321 Ext. 1275 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Central Time, Mon - Fri. or you can order online through our associate company, Crafts, Etc! . There will be a $1.00 shipping and handling fee charged per card. Order Hobby Lobby gift cards for birthdays, holidays, any days! They make a great gift for your crafting friends and family.

  Our newspaper doesn't carry your ad. How can we find out about your great sales?
 
Our weekly ad is available on our weekly specials page for you to view and print at your convenience. In addition to our weekly newspaper ad specials, we offer a weekly internet coupon which may also be found on our weekly specials page. Both the weekly ad and internet coupon are updated every Sunday morning at 12:00 am. To receive our weekly ad and coupon via email, fill out our customer survey or enter your contact information in the appropriate boxes at the top of this page.

Why am I seeing an old coupon/ad on your website?
 
When you visit either page, if the current coupon or ad isn't being displayed by your web browser, try holding down the "Shift" key and clicking on the refresh/reload button. If that doesn't force your web browser to load the current files, then you'll need to contact your Internet service provider's tech support for instructions on clearing your web browser cache. When a browser's cache gets too full, it can cause the browser to load from the cache instead of checking to see if the web page has been updated. The coupon and ad are updated on the Saturday night before the date they are valid, then the update is verified by checking those web pages. The coupon and ad are checked every day, including weekends, to ensure that the web server is working and that the most current version of each is showing.

There is no Hobby Lobby in my town. How can I purchase your products?
 
Hobby Lobby is presently offering specialty items on our website through our affiliated company, Crafts, Etc! They can be reached through a link on our home page or by going directly to the catalog site at www.craftsetc.com.

Do sale prices apply to online purchases?
 
Sales prices are applicable only at our retail stores. Sale prices do not apply to our online catalog.

  Why do you carry home decor items and not just craft supplies?
 
While Hobby Lobby does offer a wide selection of home decor accessories, we have not reduced our selection of craft items. In fact, we have expanded our selection of arts and craft items in recent years. Although Hobby Lobby Stores can no longer be considered just an arts and crafts store, we will remain devoted to supplying the artist, crafter and hobbyist with an exceptional selection and value.

Why aren't there home decor or seasonal items in your online catalog?
 
Our stores carry many "send-out" items that are purchased only one time and are sent out directly to the stores. These items make up the bulk of our home decor and seasonal selection and are not available online, as they are not stocked in our warehouse. The items available on our online catalog are our everyday stock items, primarily crafting supplies. Home decor and seasonal items are not available for mail order delivery.

I need a large quantity of a certain item, but you only have a few in stock. How can I get more of this item?
 
Our store personnel are able to special order large quantities of any item that is stocked in our warehouse. We are not, however, able to provide items that we do not carry. Please see store personnel for further information on placing a special order.

What are your store hours?
 
Our hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. All Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sundays.

  Why are you closed on Sundays?
 
We have chosen to close on the day most widely recognized as a day of rest, in order to allow our employees and customers more time for worship and family. This has not been an easy decision for Hobby Lobby because we realize that this decision may cost us financially. Yet we also realize that there are things more important than profits. This is a matter of principle for our company owner and officers.

Can I purchase items for my business from Hobby Lobby?
 
We do not offer quantity discounts through our retail stores. You are, however, welcome to use your tax certificate to purchase items without sales tax. Please see store personnel for information regarding tax exempt purchases.

Why don't you use bar code scanners?
 
We continue to look at and review the option of scanning at the registers but do not feel it is right for us at this time. Though we like the benefits scanning brings to the registers, the multi-million dollar cost causes us to be concerned about our ability to remain competitive on our prices.
