I love that it does not add heat like a regular light bulb so it can be adjusted to be very close to you but at night it is not bright enough to use as a reading light without other light support.

I've used Ott Lites in the past for craft work + reading. Can't say enough good things about them. Last one lasted several years including several military moves, which is hard on any furniture, especially lamps. I was pleased how long my last lamp lasted

Wish it stayed in place better - falls down lower - I need it to stay in place - also when you pick up to move it you have to take care - comes apart & then can be tricky plugging inner cord back in I purchased back when it was $129 Very Frustrating
