Excellent color
I took up fountain pen writing again (having done it as a kid in school) and picked up this ink - it ended up being a nice and rich color, and writes smoothly. I have tried one that came with my fountain pen and doesn't compare!

Dip Pen Friendly
I picked this for a dip pen by accident and it was a very happy mistake as the ink I was originally recommended was far to thick and this one is very smooth and makes nib cleaning very easy.
Good workhorse ink
It's readily available, flows well, and is very well-behaved. It feathers and spreads on some cheaper paper and has a 20 second drying time on my Leuchtterm paper and has some interesting shading after it dries.
GOOD INK
This is aa good ink for a beginner because you can use it for fountain pens or dip pens. It runs out quick because it makes any pen write wet… which is good but if you can refill more often, it is a really solid performing and consistent ink. Must have
Surprisingly good ink
I use this ink in my fountain pens for letter writing. This is surprisingly good ink. It writes smooth and has lubricating properties. The color is fast. It lays down well and does not spider out on most papers. Good quality by any standard.
Not a calligraphy ink.
While this is a great fountain pen ink, when I used this with a tradition tip the ink would feather of the paper. It definitely needs gum arabic to be added if it were to be used as dip ink.
