Master's Touch Canvas Panel

The Masters Touch panel is a well designed panel for detailed oil art. The Tooth is not symmetrical so you must re-gesso prime the board before use. The board does well with linseed or walnut oil baseing and holds well in the frame.. Happy Painting.

Multi Media Canvas's are Best

Even if the Board or linen is Assymetrical, a second coat of Gesso is usually reccemended, depending on your Medium. Acrylics, Oils, or Watercolor is usually going to REQUIRE a coating of Gesso or other Primer before Painting depending on what the Base.

Great For my project!!!

I Love these much better than the wrap-around canvases.

Bad for fluid art

These canvases are amazing for everything BUT fluid art, the thinness of them cant take on the amount of paint that goes into fluid art/pour art. Every time I try to do a pour art painting on one it’s curls up and I haven’t been able to salvage them.

nice for price - NOT TO USE WITH POUR PAINTING

decent, especially when you find them on sale for 3.49 versus 6.99. if you want to pour paint, skip these. surely recommend a few coats of gesso prior to use

Great for oil pastels

If you want a heavy painterly effect using oil pastels these work great. The canvas has enough tooth to pick up lots of medium and the stiffness allows you to use lots of pressure.

Great for learning to paint

Love these panel sets! They're great for the novice & professional artist to work on, b/c they're cheaper than canvas. I used these a lot when I was in art school many years ago & still today. They're NOT meant for paint pouring as some have used it for.

More Modern Look

I attach binder clips and use small nails to hang. More modern minimalist look than regular canvas, especially hanging many 12x12's in a grid pattern. I'm not sure why some reviewers add gesso, because there's no need, at least not with acrylic paint.

I like 'em

I'm new to painting and have been shopping around for canvas panels. Some brands at other stores were lighter and some reviews showed them warped or cupped. These are heavier than the others I looked at, a sturdier panel for sure and a good price.
