The point of a gel is to add volume, so when they say on the jar to use thinly or it will crack, this cannot be called a gel. It's so full of water that it can't do the basic job. It was literally rubbing off with my photo transfer. Regret buying.
Love this stuff
I really like this gloss gel and I am waiting on the next sale to buy the bigger jar.It works as it is suppose to, and that is to give my paint a glossy look on the canvas.
Changed Formula
This was my favorite medium for years and then Hobby lobby changed the formula and product completely. The new consistency and thickness is completely different now. This version is very disappointing and I hope they bring back the original.
Not a fan of this new version
Most brands went from a clear gel gloss that resembled petroleum jelly to a product that looks like lotion. It dulls acrylic paint colors & soft bodied. The price of this gel on sale is the reason why I buy it & add more paint to extend my supply.
