I am an experienced crafter and painter, over 20+ years in the business, and was so excited to give this a try. Literally 5-10 minutes of stamping later, the mallet was ruined and unevenly surfaced. I will be returning it tomorrow without a doubt!
Worked perfectly
Got item in store. I did need to practice getting the letters straight but after that made a bunch of gifts with ease! The included letter stamps were great too. This is a new craft I've picked up and it's great.
Great starter kit
The 1 star reviewer didn't know that the brass head on the hammer always dents from the hard steel stamps - normal & OK. Hammer weight is good, block is nice size, & the stamps ARE by Impress Art (just in a small case, not the expensive big case).
Great starter set
This is a really great starter set. I had bought a few off brand tools a few years ago and found that they didn’t work well at all and gave up on metal stamping. So recently I decided to buy this set and am very pleased with it. 2 thumbs up!
