very good for beginners
If you are barely starting to get into jewelry making this is an inexpensive way to go. Just be aware that the pliers are small so they're very awkward to handle. The only thing that disappointed me was the wire cutter, so get a separate pair.
Good Beginner Set
This is a good inexpensive set. I was worried about the size but they were good to work with. I did not like the wire cutter though. My hand started hurting after a while trying to cut with those.
Very disappointed !
I bought this tool set because it was a convenient size I can travel with keeping everything I need organized and together in a handy well made case. The proublem is the tools are made cheap and carelessly. In less then a month 3 tools broke.
Great for jewelry making noobs
I've used these for years to finish occasionally-made beaded jewelry. Now I'm making more wire jewelry & these are too small. The handles are 1½" at most - not enough leverage for turning small loops. Good for discovering jewelry making.
Nice little tool set
I got this set of tools a few years ago and have been using them off-and-on for a while now. The tools themselves have stood the test of time, but the case hasn't. One of the elastic loops holding the pliers broke while the one next to it is fraying.
Super glad I bought.
At first the plastic smelled weird. It wore off fast and I take my kit in my purse everywhere I go! I love it. It has worked for all my projects. As someone else said the cutter is the only odd tool out. Better for thin cord, not good for wire.
