The package looks real cute and I love the idea but it came with absolutely no instructions

Glue the leaves separately.
When you roll up the felt, the leaves line up behind one another. If you want it to look natural you must cut and glue each leaf separately. It's a lot of work but looks 100% better. I love all 3 of these products!
