Weld-Bond Glue is Fantastic!
This stuff is worth the cost, as it out-performs any other craft-type glue I've tried. It cleans up while tacky with water, but once it cures, it's PERMANENT. It dries with a glossy finish, so I've also finger-painted it as a decoupage medium.
