Not very good
I bought this to make a bunch of lotions, body butters etc. Doesn't even smell like vanilla. Not good at all. I'm getting rid of it.
Chemical smell
Initial scent is a sweet vanilla smell but then turns into a nauseating chemical smell that gave me a headache. It might not be bad in a soap but don’t ruin your diffuser with this oil.
If I could give Zero Stars I would
I bought this b/c I ran out of the normal one I use to make soap with… first off it smells like a campground bathroom after a 1-2 days of not being cleaned… 2.) it turned my soap batter to dough less than 3 mins… DON'T BUY!
Works great with my candles !!!
I used it to make paraffin candle and it smells delicious, i am going to try it with gel candles and hopefully will work as well, fingers crossed !!!. Not bad at all for the price, only used a tiny bit of it and scent goes a long way

Does not smell like vanilla at all. Smells like an odd spicy playdough. Terrible

This does not smell like vanilla. It has a chemical fake sugar smell. Even though cost is $5, Not worth it. I wish i could get my money back.

I use it in my diffuser with a little Sandalwood & my house smells amazing I get so many compliments when I have guests but my store is always sold out wish I could buy it somewhere else.
Like a beavers rear end
I don't know what a beavers rear end smells like but smelling this "vanilla" makes me think a beavers rear end would smell better. DO NOT NOT NOT BUY this. Literally crap.

I LOVE this scent! I also have vanilla absolute, and the absolute smells very heavy and doesn't blend well with homemade candles or perfume. But, this essential oil has a lovely, clean, light vanilla scent. It smells just like vanilla extract. Love it!
