Safety Flux
Low fuming, lower odor, and environmentally friendly, Safety Flux is designed for use with copper foil application with stained glass pieces. It contains no zinc chloride or ammonium chloride.
Simply brush liberally onto your copper foil, heat and solder, and add more flux as needed. It is formulated to be easier on your skin, leaving no greasy mess, and it washes off your piece even after fourteen days of soldering!

Safe? Yes. Effective? NO!
I purchased Safety Flux anticipating that it would work as well as traditional flux. I couldn't have been more wrong. It took me several days to figure out why I could no longer solder smooth beaded lines. I now use Canfield paste flux exclusively!

I've been using this flux for awhile and have been happy with it.
Another use for this flux
This flux is excellent for cleaning the surface of old foil to remove oxidation. When I leave foiled glass out for a while, I use this flux and scrub the old foil gently with a cotton swap to clean it prior to soldering. Amazing results!
don't waste your money
Bad Product. I've been doing stained glass for 40 years. Can't believe how bad this stuff is.
Worst flux I’ve ever used
This product caused me untold problems until I realized it wasn’t the iron, orthefoil, or me - it was this sorry flux. Never again.
Do not buy!
I'm not sure what someone would use this for, but soldering together stained glass is not it. It ruined my project.
So bad
I'm relatively new to stained glass so naturally I thought it was me, but it's terrible! Nothing is staying on the glass. I'll be very happy to go back to the unsafe flux.
Horrible
This Flux is the worst I have ever used! I thought it was my iron, or me, but no I changed to using Canfield and what a major difference I was back to being able to make the smooth solder lines I am use to doing! HL , stay out of the Stained glass arena!

BUY A REAL BRAND
I got this when I was first starting, THIS PRODUCT WILL DISCOURAGE YOU IMMENSELY. It is not a good product, it is not a consistent product. I strongly recommend you find a brand recommended by glass artists
