Not good at all
Got this lamp for Christmas and hooked it up, it said on the directions it would take 2-3 hours to heat up and the lava would start working. Had it on 6-7 hours and it never did anything. My lamp gets hot but the lava does not separate. This item sucks.
Rainbow lava lamp
Works great just got It yesterday and I like it it is slow how ever but the wax going threw the colors is neat It is fun to watch when it is going but it takes a long time to worm up but the directions say for the first time it will take a few to start.
Disappointed
I bought this item and plugged it in. In about 3 hours nothing had happened so i took it back. I then bought another one to see if it would work this time and all that happened was the lava chunk just floated up with the heating coil. I didnt buy another.

Not worth it at $5.
Not enough "lava", insides obscured by sloppy coating. As cheaply as it's made, we don't trust it even as a colorful nightlight. Pass on this one.

Before buying a Lava Lamp, remember that it's for MOOD LIGHTING and not meant to light a room. That said, once the lava begin's to flow and do it's thing, it's relaxing to watch.

I bought this for my son and he loves it! It’s a little small, but it’s perfect for him. We accidentally dropped the first one we bought and shattered it (totally our fault and no fault to the product). We bought a second one and both worked perfectly.
