Thin materials, bad wiring.
My son recieved it for a gift and it was only an hour after assembly the pulley no longer worked and the string was tangled inside the casing. The light stopped working and the screws began falling out.
Terrible quality, broke on the first day
My son was able to play with this for under two hours, before the main spool that raises and lowers the hook got tangled in the gears and broke the string. The quality of the materials is extremely poor as well. Don't waste your money.
Not good
Remote control doesn't work properly. Only up and down, not sideways.
Cool so far
We just set this up, my 4 year old thinks its so cool! Works how it should, hope it lasts a little while at least!
Great toy
My kids normally break everything they touch. They have played with this toy for hours now and it’s still standing and moving heavy loads.

for $25 its a great value. kids love it. I dont write reviews normally but I felt that the ones i read dont reflect the reality of this product. would buy again.
PLEASE Help FIX TOY HOBBY LOBBY
My 5year old also recieved this as a bday gift 2 days ago.and the SAME THING happened to the hook and string..he only got to play with it for an hour.and then the hook with string would not go down anymore.PLEASE HELP FIX HOBBYLOBBY
Very Disapointed
Neat toy; however, it didn't last a day. My son bought it w/his own Christmas money & within a few hours the string got caught in the gears & no longer works. I tried to fix, but don't think it is possible it is so jammed & no way to get to it.
Not so great
Toy has lasted for us longer than for most, but the hook only goes part way down then starts going back up. Still usable but not fully functional. Not good for $25
Not worth $1
Crane doesn't work after 1 week. The strings are twisted inside and it wont work anymore and the screws to untangle it are impossible to get to. What a waste of my money as a single mom I cant afford toys that dont work after 1 week or less.
