Can't recommend
The hook gets stuck no matter how I slide the weight. It looks amazing but is a lemon. I wouldn't recommend this purchase. Originally it would drop several links, but now it has to be helped to even stay going. Disappointing!
my students love it
simple enough for my students to put it together and simple to adjust the amount of time it takes to finish. We race it for bathroom visits.
Takes some patience and tweaking
When first assembled, it did not run smoothly and got hung up on the same release lever repeatedly. Using 6 quarters all the way out on the arm, and some cooking spray for lubricant, it is 90% reliable now. Timer only runs for about 1 minute.
