Cool concept but totally frustrating
We had 4 intelligent adults attempting to assemble this toy. The quality of the parts was poor. Instructions not detailed enough, and you need really small hands to put it together. The concept was great and we had high hopes, but it was a fail for us.
Incomplete
Bought this but it was defective. We got some duplicate pieces in the box and were not able to complete it. Will be returning.
Not educational or fun
Far too complex for a child to assemble even with adult help. My 9 y.o. got frustrated and left. It took my husband and I a few days and 3 tries to get it working. Then a plastic pin broke on first test run and the whole thing is useless.
Frustration outweighed the fun
This was a complex and finicky machine to build. It took my husband and me 3 days to mostly assemble it before my kid said they probably wouldn’t play with it. We boxed it back up and we’re happy to see it go.
Hydraulics leak
It's a fun idea, but the quality is poor. It took a few hours to assemble, but the seals on the hydraulic cylinders leak, which lets air into the system, and then it is useless.

I guess if I had to leave a positive comment it would be that it will help you understand how this engineering works. Unfortunately this machine is such low quality that practically everything jammed or broke. Hydraulics leaked and got the candy all wet.
Low quality attempt
Concept was fun but somewhat complicated and cheap. Very realistic as the claw it too weak to pick anything up. Works for a few pulls just before it leaks and requires disassembly.
Absolute Piece of JUNK
A wasted 3 hour build with my 6 yr and 4yr old. Both pistons leaked and would not work right out of the box. If I could give a negative star rating for this Id post it due to not being able to contact this company for a simple part replacement.
Another fail
Please don't buy this thing. I have no idea why Hobby Lobby continues to sell this thing that seems to have zero effort put into quality control. As with everyone else, the hydraulics don't work because the seal won't hold.
HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY
This is the worst product. Five hours of frustration and could not throw it in the trash quickly enough.
