Celestron 60mm refractor
I got this telescope for the price and the brand. The eye pieces that came with the scope showed a small picture inside the scope. And the inside barrel isn't blackened enough so you would get some glare. If you have better eye pieces you'll have fun.
Good fun
Bought this scope for the June 2019 Jupiter opposition. With the high mag eyepiece I was able to see Jupiter and two moons clearly. Barlow lens was misaligned out of the box, so effectively useless without careful shimming. Tripod is a little flimsy.
Perfect for the Price
We bought this for our son for his 6th birthday. It isn't super fancy, but it works for what we need. Everyone in the family enjoys peeking at the stars and planets through this scope.
Celestron hit a home run great value
I was curious how good this scope would be, so after I saw coated GLASS lenses and the price I went for it. Not disappointed at all, very happy with it being used as a spotting telescope. Clear images with no chromatic aberration. Excellent value !!!!
Camping telescope
we keep this in our RV and we love getting views of the moon and we also use to look down at the lake as well.
