The instructions weren't that good but the ship was awesome!
Horrible
Instructions not worth a dime. Horrible craftmanship as the pieces were bad of quality and also did not fit properly. Found myself constantly having to widen openings each and every time. It looked great on the box but very disappointed.
Great ship as always. Take your time be patient
These kits are as good as you choose to make them. If you want to just pull it out the box and snap it together and call it a day then go buy a prebuilt model. If you want a fun challenge that ends in a rewarding result then buy this. Detail is the key.
Great
I don't understand the problem others have with instructions unless they have been updated now because the instructions in my kit are some of the best I've seen. Clear crisp drawings. Easy to understand. I'm guessing they have been redrawn.
Beware
Just beware. If you are a novice modeler this ship may not be for you. Yes the pictures are clear, the instructions are as well for the most part. There are some guesses you have to take and mods you have to do to some parts. Very frustrating to a newbie.
Poor quality terrible design
- Parts are hard to find. Part numbers are not systematically named, all over the place. Hard to find.
- Poor Quality. A lot of miss-alignment issues and not fit correctly.
- Terrible design. Hard to work with following the sequence of the manual.
Piece of crap
Holy crap. I got this model years ago and it’s still not finished. It’s a level 2 but should be a level 10 that thing was HARD. My dad and I have spent hours on it. Pieces break easily, rope measurements not clear, poor alignment, terrible instructions
A challenge
I enjoyed this model, but as others have noted it is not for the faint of heart. Take your time, read, and reread, ahead in the directions. If you want to just snap something together,,This is not for you. True modeling experience. I personally enjoyed.
Missing rigging line
I have yet to build this…but i wanted to say found rigging line missing i emailed round 2 and they sent me replacement line wanted to just say what an awesome company round 2 corp is….cant wait to build this kit..
Great detail for the price
Im at the rigging stage what a great build a little flash but fit is good the size is great. I'll build another when i can get one it was fun super detailing use modpodge for the cabin glass worked great
