Barrels
I use These barrels to make desktop clocks. The only problem is most of the stores only have two and no backup. You will have to get a rain check if you want more.
Love these
I purchased two on line and was not aware that they were in the store so I ended up with four, which was great. The project I used them for was to display my personal colloquial quotes. The only negative thing is the black wire. I could do without.
Barrels of Fun
Used a mini butane torch on these to darken and bring out the wood grain. Made a "label" for them and had the cutest whiskey barrels for some wedding reception centerpieces.
Yahtzee Cup
Lined this with felt after staining to create a homemade Yahtzee cup. Thick and solid!
Fun To "Burn"
I used a small laser burner to add Whiskey Barrel logos. A propane torch to darken the rest and a water-based high gloss maple stain to finish it off. Seems to have a clear finish that needed a little extra time and effort to burn through. Metal got hot.
Achieved my vision
I stained the barrel for a themed centerpiece and they turned out perfect!!
