Watercolor Place Cards
Planning a wedding, dinner party or brunch? Set the table (and the tone!) with handcrafted herringbone place cards. We created these mini watercolor masterpieces in a few simple steps and so can you! Get the inspiration and details below.
Supplies: watercolor paper, watercolor paint, paintbrushes, antique gold wax finish, palette, calligraphy ink, calligraphy pen, grid ruler, crafter’s tape
Determine place card and name tag size and use ruler to mark desired measurements.
Fold paper and tear along crease.
Paint herringbone pattern onto card.
While paint is still wet, use small round brush dipped in another color to add depth. Let paint dry completely.
Accent card with antique gold wax.
Use calligraphy pen and ink to write names on name tags and let dry.
Secure name tag to card with crafter’s tape.
