Beeswax Food Wraps
That’s a wrap on disposable plastics! Ditch the cling film for an easy-to-make cotton food wrap. It’s great for storing leftovers, sealing containers and keeping produce fresh. And naturally antibacterial beeswax makes it totally reusable, so you can wrap it up again and again. Get the how-to below!
Supplies: beeswax pastilles, cotton fabric, jojoba oil, paintbrush, baking sheet, scissors, twine (for wrapping)
Preheat oven to 225° F. Cut fabric to desired size.
Place fabric (printed side down) onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle generous layer of beeswax pastilles and ½ tsp. jojoba oil. Bake 5 to 10 minutes, or until beeswax is fully melted.
Spread mixture to evenly coat fabric. Bake for additional minute, then hang to dry and set.
