Make oven-baked clay spring to life with these crystals that come together with the help of an acrylic clay roller, some metal sheets for sparkle, and your personal flair of creativity.
Use the roller to flatten the clay into different thicknesses. Roll the flattened clay into a tube, adding layers one by one and mixing the colors as desired.
Add some metal leaves between layers for a layer of sparkle.
Cut the rolled clay into a variety of sizes.
Cut the end of the clay at different angles with the blade to make a point. Use the blade to slice the clay longways, then rotate your blade to slice all the way around the clay roll to create a crystal shape. Tip: Keep the small pieces to use for small crystals around the base.
Follow the package directions to complete to bake your clay crystals.
Glue the crystals to the base. Tip: To create the marble effect, tear away small pieces of different clay colors and slightly push them into the beige clay block and then use a roller or clay machine to blend the colors. Shape as desired.
Cut the end of the crystal in different angles to make them tilt.
Cut smaller pieces and glue around the base and use white paint along the edges to complete the clay crystals.
