Supplies: cotton cord, yarn, dowel, needle, hot glue, comb
Cut 6” dowel. Cut 22 cotton cord pieces, 17” each. Fold two cord pieces in half, slide folded end onto dowel, and mark bottom of loop (where yarn wrapping will begin). Slide cord off dowel. Repeat with remaining cord pieces.
Tightly wrap each pair of cord pieces with yarn (use hot glue to secure yarn while wrapping). When finished wrapping, cut yarn and secure end with glue. Tip: Create pattern by wrapping varying colors and lengths of yarn.
Slide all 11 pairs of wrapped cord onto dowel.
Use comb to unravel cord ends.
Sew pieces together by threading yarn through back of each piece three times. Then cut yarn and tie off.
