Supplies: oven-bake clay, clay mat, pottery tool kit, clay slicer, clay roller, tape measure, tin can
Knead white clay and roll out.
Cut small pieces of clay in various colors.
Place small pieces onto rolled-out white clay.
Press pieces into clay and roll out again to incorporate colors.
Measure tin can to ensure clay is rolled out large enough to be wrapped around it.
Trim clay to appropriate size, leaving ½” at top to fold over can edge.
Wrap clay around can, pressing ends together. Then carefully fold overlapping top portion over can’s edge. Bake clay according to manufacturer’s instructions.
