Project Instructions
-
Step 1
Using photo as a guide, trim tulips to two different lengths that will work for your trunk— you’ll need longer stems for back of trunk and shorter ones for front. Tip: Keep leaf portions of stems to use as filler.
-
Step 2
Glue foam bricks into trunk.
-
Step 3
Cover foam bricks with moss, using floral pins to secure.
-
Step 4
Starting with back 1/3 of container, insert longer stems into foam as desired. Tip: To achieve a more natural look, stagger flowers as shown. Avoid evenly spacing.
-
Step 5
Working toward front of container, insert shorter stems into foam as desired. When all stems have been placed, adjust heights as necessary for desired look.
-
Step 6
Fill in empty spaces with blossom sprays and reserved leaf portions.
