Dainty Inspirational Necklace

Step 1

Supplies: stamping kit, clay, clay mat, stamp guides, necklace chains, clay roller, craft knife, round gold blanks, jump rings, awl, craft sticks, round clay cutter, chain nose pliers

Step 2

Roll out thin slab of translucent clay. Roll beige, gold, white and bronze clay into thin strips and cut into small pieces with craft knife. Top translucent clay with clay pieces.

Step 3

Roll clay again to incorporate clay pieces. Tip: Place craft sticks on both sides of clay slab before rolling to create a uniformly flat surface.

Step 4

Use circle cutters to create clay circles from clay slab. Then use awl to make hole in top of clay circles. Bake according to clay package instructions.

Step 5

Place gold blank on stamping block and use letter stamps and hammer to imprint your phrase. Tip: For even spacing, start from middle-most letter and work out from there. Thread all pieces on large jump ring and string onto necklace chain.
