Project Instructions
-
Step 1
Gather supplies. Begin by wrapping leather cording loosely around wrist several times. Add 2-3 inches to length, double it, and cut.
-
Step 2
With cording folded in half, tie knot, creating 1/2-inch loop at end. Secure loop to work surface with tape, and cut strand of monofilament cord that’s two arm-lengths long. Tie monofilament cord around leather cord on left side, and secure with drop of super glue.
-
Step 3
String one bead onto monofilament cord, and center bead between leather cords.
-
Step 4
Feed monofilament cord under and around right-hand leather cord, and then thread it through opposite side of bead. Now go under left-hand leather cord with monofilament cord and back around to top. Pull cord tight, making sure bead is snug between leather cord pieces.
-
Step 5
Continue with same technique until all beads are strung, switching bead styles if desired.
-
Step 6
To finish, tie monofilament cord tightly around one leather cord piece. Clip off extra, and add drop of super glue to secure. Tie leather cord pieces together, and it’s ready to wear!
