Pine & Eucalyptus Christmas Wreath
Wreaths are a wintertime decor no-brainer, so we took an unexpected approach to this minimalist beauty. Think broad eucalyptus leaves, frosted wooden beads and splashes of red mimosa blossoms secured to a base of traditional pine-needle boughs. It sure is the hap-happiest season of all!
Here’s what you’ll need to make this wreath: 19” steel ring, ribbon, pine-needle bush, eucalyptus bush, mimosa spray, wood beads, floral stem wires, white chalky finish spray paint, high-temperature glue gun, wire cutters.
Lightly coat wood beads with spray paint to achieve a frosted effect. Let dry. Note: Leave some beads unpainted.
Remove pinecones from pine-needle bush and cut remainder of bush into several smaller pieces. Gather and attach pieces to wreath using floral stem wires.
Cut pieces from eucalyptus bush and mimosa spray and insert them into wreath.
Hot glue mixture of painted and unpainted beads to wreath, placing bulk of beads near bottom to create a focal point.
Tie length of ribbon into double-loop bow and attach to wreath underneath focal beads.
