Project Instructions
-
Step 1
For this project you’ll need: 54”-wide polyester outdoor fabric, natural bullion fringe, fabric glue, disappearing ink pen, quilting clips and yard stick.
-
Step 2
Cut 54 inches of outdoor fabric, creating perfect square. Fold in half down middle (54 x 27” rectangle), then in half again (27 x 27” square), and finally diagonally to create triangle.
-
Step 3
Position fabric so side with all raw edges (no folds) is at top. Place end of yard stick at opposite point running along folded edge and mark at 26” using disappearing ink pen.
-
Step 4
Move yard stick in semicircle along fabric (keeping end aligned with triangle’s bottom point) and mark at 26” point in 1-inch intervals.
-
Step 5
Cut along semicircle marks. Note: Fringe trim will hide imperfections in cutting.
-
Step 6
Use quilting clips and fabric glue to adhere 5 yards of bullion fringe trim around edge of fabric. Let dry and enjoy!
