Embroidered Flower Monogram
Using our free printable pattern and a stash of your own supplies, we’ll show you how to make an embroidered monogram letter blooming with beautiful detail.
To create an embroidery like ours, you’ll need: 3” letter stencil, printable flower embroidery hoop pattern, white woven polyester fabric, craft needles, embroidery floss, silicone beads, embroidery hoop, scissors, disappearing ink pen for fabric, wood stain marker
Color embroidery hoop using wood stain marker and let dry before inserting embroidered fabric.
Trace letter stencil on top of printed pattern.
Fill in top of letter by mimicking flower pattern. Then transfer design to fabric using disappearing ink. Tip: Omit parts of flowers to give letter a nestled-in appearance.
Complete embroidery using a variety of stitches, such as backstitch, French knot, satin stitch and others. Then make tassel out of embroidery floss and silicone beads and tie it to top of hoop.
