Looking for a fun and fast DIY project to do with your BFF? Matching friendship bracelets are the answer! Made from embroidery floss and some jewelry essentials, these fashionable wearables pull off simple and flashy all at once.
Supplies: colored embroidery floss, scissors, spool of white suede lace, clasps and chains, pliers, clipboard
A: Cut piece of suede about 14”, fold in half, and secure to clipboard at loop. Cut pieces of floss (length determines amount of color in pattern). Group all floss underneath top of suede as shown.
B: Bring first strand of floss over first section of floss and suede and then under second section of floss and suede.
Pull tight to top of suede and floss.
Take other side of that same color and repeat Step B, going opposite direction. Pull tight.
Continue repeating B (going back and forth) until desired length is reached. Keep floss tight and close together.
When desired length is reached, tie off and trim excess floss.
Cut suede loop and attach clasp and chain to finish.
