Finger knitting and arm knitting are taking the needle-art world by storm. And we’ve got 5 fun projects that can all be done in a couple hours or less. So grab some yarn, flex those DIY muscles and let’s get started!
Finger knit three 4-stitch strands (one navy and two multicolored), each 36 rows long. Lay them out as shown—this is the order you’ll sew them together in.
Sew strands together as shown. Be sure to overlap the multicolored strands on top of the navy strand enough to leave a flap. Note: Navy strand should face purl side out, and multicolored strands should face knitted side out.
Sew flaps together every sixth stitch—this creates the oval design.
Sew ends together as shown to form headband.
Weave in tails, tie off and trim excess yarn.
And now you’re ready to turn heads in your DIY’d headband!
