Don't Bother
Such a waste of money. I wanted wine red. Bought 100% cotton, followed the directions to a T (even took the extra steps to make sure I did the hot dye process correctly to get the wine color). FUSCIA! I bought wine red for a reason!!!
Good stuff
I used the wine red & it works marvelous when you use it on an already red clothing item that you like to change. It doesn't work on white clothing material because it will turn pinkish but on red it will work
Good stuff
I got an item i bought online, it said burgundy but came to me red so i had to color it myself. This red wine works good on fabric when it's a red tone clothing already but want to go darker like a burgundy works great & messy but so worth it. Love it
To Get Deep Dark Colors…use a lot!
Bought a darker color to dye white blanket. Pay attention to the amount needed to deposit on a light color, you need a lot of dye! It only can deposit so much color per oz per fabric so use more to make sure it will deposit enough color. Fantastic!
Wow! Better Than Expected!
I bought the purple dye to use on a white cotton blouse, and it made a beautiful ombre pattern in about ten minutes (w/ salt and dish soap added)! Nice bold color on the shirt, half a bottle left, no mess in my kitchen, no stains on my fingers. Loved it!
Pretty but wrong color
This is for the emerald dye. I expected a green but everything I dyed came out blue. Disappointing since the outside of the bottle is green not blue.
It was so great!
I love this. It works so well.
Works well with 50/50
I used rit apple green dye on some UCP type gear such as a ucp molle II army backpack, helmet covering, and vest. And it worked out amazing
Coloring Carpet
Coloring carpet looks great.
Green dye was black
The bottle says it’s a dark green, but it is decidedly black. I’m mad I wasted not only my money on this dye, but my time in preparing everything else (hot water, salt, etc) for a shirt I can’t dye.
