Poor light
I expected an LED to be bright but this one wasn’t even as bright as a candle. Totally useless for sewing.
Wouldn’t work on my wife’s Singer
This bulb was not compatible with my wife’s 60”s era Singer. It used a 120 volt bulb. 12 volt LED bulbs were dim and flickered. If it uses a 120 volt bulb, it has to have a 120 volt bulb.
Generally good, but…
Tried in vertical-mount Kenmore and Singer. Barely 2" long, 4000K, not 5500K. Brighter and more diffused than the old bulb, flickers a little on AC. Bottom contacts too tall, filed down about half way to fit into the socket. I'll keep it.
Singer Featherweight and Singer 201-2
This didn't fit either my 1951 Singer 201-2, or my 1964 Singer Featherweight. I have had success with a Dritz LED bulb that Hobby Lobby doesn't carry, in the past.
