Very good quality,am impressed
Price and quality
I always stock up when Sew-ology is 50%, all of the products are a bargain. The other big fabric/craft store rarely puts their sewing notions half price, And the bias tape is NEVER included in “notions”. Pretty decent selection.
This product works well for all sewing projects. However, the price on the card says $2.29, not $1.99 as it says on the site. And the store doesn't over-ride it, even when shown the site.
This is my first experience with Sew-ology bias tape and it will be my last. I used it for a pillowcase dress and it is so stiff that I could barely get a pin through. Trying to tie the shoulder straps is almost impossible. Color used: purple.
I like the quality of Sewology tape. It is softer and more pliable than Wrights. However, it is consistently several inches shorter than Wrights. When I encase the raw edges of aprons cut from a pattern, this brand does not make it all the way around.
Bought for years & was happy w/ them. They changed something last year & they smell super FISHY. Ordered 3x this year& returned. They smell wretched. Still sews ok if you can stomach the fish smell. I sew to sell, so can't use these now. Disappointed.
The new gold fabric does not have any stretch which makes me wonder if it was even cut on the bias.
Waste of time and waste of money!!!
About 2 years ago it started to smell awful. And then I noticed that where they usually sewed 2 raw edges together to = 3 yds they glued it together! Quality has gone down!!! Wrote them but I didn't get anywhere. Don't buy from them anymore.
Smells like rotten fish.
