Nice plane. Well made and super sharp to look at.
To be honest …
… Manfred von Richthofen, "The Red Baron", is most famous for flying his all-red Fokker Dr.1 triplane, which this model is not. Von Richthofen DID fly a biplane during WWI, an Albatross D.V, not the D.III model this is, and it was never red.
"And so what?" is my reply to the negative poster who completely ignored the quality of the item and got all hung up by the name. Having had a long-time fascination for biplanes, I was overjoyed to own this. Great detail and workmanship.
True to life model
Great model, worked perfectly for Amelia Earhart wax museum prop. Easy to re-spray into another color.
Very pleased with purchase and store was very helpful.
Great for what it is, B-day gift from my Son
My son got this for my B-day, very nice, sure its not historic correct, but who cares, its just a nice hand crafted style plane, looks great hanging from the ceiling in my RC drone/whoop room.
