Not Black
It says this has a black base but it is more of a dark brown with a red tint to it.

Great helmet display case!!!!!
Just picked this up 1/2 price and what a great purchase. Any “decent” plastic case is at full price point or more. We’re talking glass here. Definitely will grab another on sale, of course it’ll cost purchasing another helmet. But that’s worth it.
