Bought this 50% off as a Bday gift for my daughter. She needed a frame for her father's flag, & she is VERY happy with this. Feels light but is actually very sturdy. Good quality, REAL wood, not fake or plastic. The medium tone blends with any decor. A+
Nothing special
Please note that the front is molding. Can't attach a brass nameplate. Also does not appear to be real walnut but rather a walnut stain. Not even constructed of continuous boards but rather scraps jointed together that are quite noticeable.
Is Walnut Stain on Fiberboard.
I bought two of these flag cases, thinking they were walnut wood as described, but in contacting HL, they have informed me that they are made of MDF medium-density fibreboard. Misleading, in my opinion. I will be returning them.
