Can't write
I bet this chalkboard as a Christmas present and I can not write anything on it to save my life. I've tried everything but nothing seems to work. Do not buy unless you want to refinish the chalkboard yourself
Used as a picture frame!
I bought this beauty as a DIY project and it worked out perfectly. I wanted to use the frame only not the chalk board portion so I used mod-podge over the chalk board and glued a vintage art piece from Etsy and it came out gorgeous.
It’s pretty, but not useable.
I’m not sure why this is labeled a “chalkboard” when you cannot write on it. Not even with a paint marker. I’ve never seen anything like it.

I use a chalk paint marker pen on this board and it works great. Looks amazing. I use it for all events I host
