Great Dye Pads
I have every color of these. They are such great dye pads and worth the price. If you store them like recommended they are even better to use.
If you want to color your stamped image with markers, the lines will bleed. I even used a heat tool to dry it and it the lines still smeared when colored. Terrible ink pads.
I've used different ink pads, and STAMPABILITIES INK PAID DYE is the only one I will buy. Dries quickly, good saturation… doesn't smear!
Great, for what it’s supposed to be
Another reviewer said this stamp pad is bad because it causes color to bleed with the use of markers. They fundamentally don’t understand what this type of stamp is, which is understandable. This type of ink will cause bleeding regardless of brand.
Smaller than advertised and pitted surface
I'm a repeat customer. New pad is only 3x1.3/4" and surface is a pitted sponge. My old Stampabilities pad was 3 1/2 x 2 1/8 ". Also old pad had uniform tightly woven fabric surface. This pad has gone from being the best available to a piece of junk. Shame
I bought the black DYE ink pad to try with alcohol markers and was very pleased the stamped image didn't bleed with the markers. Some people are saying this ink bled but am wondering if they used the PIGMENT version which would bleed no matter the brand.
Ink smeared after 24 hours!
Ruined 4 hand-made cards because of this ink! Smeared immediately after, then 1 hour, then 24 hours after! Will never buy again. Wish there was a place to post photos.
