Incorrect floss amount
Either the directions are incorrect and you should use only 2 strands for cross stitching or they didn't put the correct amount of floss in thr kit. Of course there isnt dmc color numbers to purchasr more either. Very disappointed.
Waste of Money
Not enough floss provided in kit, no dmc numbers, needles are weak and break. I purchased 3 kits during one trip to hoby loby and am disappointed in each of the items purchased.
Needs more thread!
Like others mentioned, there is not enough thread in the kit, and no wheres can you find DMC numbers so you can get more. The needles are very weak, broke both that came with the kit before I finished the first color!
Not enough string
I bought three kits for Christmas gifts and because there wasn’t enough string, I borrowed from the other two. I am down to my last one and wanted to order more string, but no information is given about what color to buy. I have also broken 3 needles.
Confusing instruction
Weak needle, not enough floss and incorrect instructions on how many threads to start with.
Flag kit
Great kit. Everything was included. Very clear instructions with diagrams and pictures. More than enough floss. Since this is wood, the holes don't have any give and can get snug. Making sure the floss wasn't twisted stopped that.
Do not buy
We just got one to try, this lasted only 15 minutes as the needle broke. Directions are poorly written and not for a beginner.

I'm a beginner and thought this would be a fun and quick pattern to do. The instructions make no sense. I have no idea where to start. I wish it came with video instructions. The wood is also splintering. Poor quality
