Brittle needles
I would love to give a good review of this product because it's beautiful but I had to stop halfway through because both of the needles broke on me! I will have to pick it back up once I purchase more needles. Very disappointed in the quality.
Cute kit!
Love the pattern and the kit! Only problem was I ran out of blue thread halfway through :( I did have to use other thread to finish but it ended up being cute!!
Never enough thread
I have purchased four of these kits and every time I run out of one particular color thread. Every.Time. I wrote to the company and they replied many weeks later. They told me to go and buy more thread! I love Hobby Lobby - but NOT this kit company!
GORGEOUS end product!!
Yes it has issues, BUT it's only $5 and it's gorgeous!! I had MORE than enough thread but my needle did break (but I had others). I bought 2 kits and hot glued the 2nd heart to the back for a finished look and the receiver LOVED it! So beautiful!!
Beautiful
I have made several of these kits and have never run out of thread. I use a smaller needle than the one that comes with them and have less issues with breakage and it is much easier to sew.
Holes too small, breaks needles
My daughter broke 2 needles, while trying to squeeze them through the tiny holes. She tried using a smaller needle; however, she couldn’t fit the thread into it. The holes on one side of the wood heart are much smaller than on the other one. Bad design!
ZERO STARS Having to separate the floss
Each color of floss is 6 strands that you have to separate into 3… so when I separate it into 3 strands I can’t thread it when it’s 3 strands. On top of that I’ve wasted almost all the thread trying to separate them and had to go buy more thread.
3/4ths finished and loving it
I’m almost finished with this kit and I love it a lot. I haven’t had issues with the needle, I have more than enough floss, and the design is coming out cute! I will say some of the holes are tight but that hasn’t been too much of a problem for me
No needles
Mine didn't come with needles and it was a pain hunting around for a needle to fit the holes in the wood. Finished project is beautiful though.
