Not Tin

We bought this for a project that requires tin. However, we dis overed that this it not at least pure tin. Tin has a melting in nt of 449.5 Farenheit, however, this failed to melt at temperatures well above that. This is NOT Ti !!!

May or may not be tin.

I also had the same problem but I think that it is just the outside that isn’t tin but more likely nickel or steel but the inner sheet may or may not be tin bottom line buy pure tin online and don’t waste five dollars on this puny amount.

P.E.

I see they never changed the description, although the error has been called to their attention. The correct description should be, 'galvanized steel" The coating is not even tin, but zinc. Very misleading and incorrect description

Read reviews for your project type

Used this to provide a surface for magnets in plastic storage cases. Worked very well for that.
