Leonardo da Vinci's (Italian, 1452–1519) late fifteenth-century Aerial Screw drawing is one of his most iconic images, and like many of his inventions, was an idea way ahead of its time. Based on Leonardo's bevel gear design, which would spin the canopy and support structure, allowing for flight, this working re-creation of Leonardo de Vinci's 15th Century "Aerial Screw" Helicopter is easily assembled in less than two hours by beginners.
